Hello there.
If you're like me, you've begun to notice the big new about this mysterious group of so-called "Hacktivists" who go by the name of Anon, or Anonymous.. They seem to have begun to create quite abit of chatter within America's Finest.. Between their attacks on SONY, Bank of America, MasterCard, and various other major corporations, not to mention their conflict with the Mexican cartel, these V-for Vendetta-like masqueraders are certainly making a name for themselves...
So, we know -about- these men and woman hiding their motives behind a cyber-mask of encrypted messages and voice-changers, but who are they really?
Many see them as a threat to society, and a terrorist group that needs to be stopped. Others see them as heroes, taking the law into their own hands to even out a terrible imbalance of power... But who can be right? None have enough information to truely make that decision...
In my eyes, these vigilantes are an inspiration to us all... While their methods by some are considered immoral, at least they are getting something done. As I tend to say, If you don't like how something is being done, come up with a better way to do it, and as far as I have seen, none of these people complaining about Anonymous have done that.
However, what has yet to be seen is what these people really want.
Money? No, they have that.
Recognition? Then why would they hide?
Power? ..I believe we're beginning to go about the right lines here now..
But what do they -truly- desire? I don't claim to be correct.. But I think they see a future none of us are expecting... The game we've been playing in America, and even the world itself is about to change as some new rules are introduced, and the rest are broken... Sure, these people are operating out of computer screens, but as most have never faced a threat quite like this, and with civilization's increasing reliance on the internet and technology, One can only imagine what can be accomplished....
I send out a call of friendly admiration to any Anonymous members..
